The RIDGID K-5208-C11-CART (62378) Sectional Drain Cleaning Machine for 2 in. to 8 in. Lines, with 2 x A-8 Cable Carriers, 7 x C-11 Cables, Rear Guide Hose, Toolbox Kit, 115V 60Hz, is the most powerful and compact sectional drain cleaner on the market. Power meets portability, as this machine is 35% lighter and 71% smaller than previous RIDGID sectional drain cleaners. Combined with the K-5208 Transport Cart, the 62378 kit offers an all-in-one mobile work station.

The RIDGID K-5208 Drain Cleaning machine is designed to clean 2″ (50mm) to 8″ (200mm) drain lines and up to 200 feet in length depending on size of cable. Applications include laterals, main lines, commercial lines.

A FOR/O-OFF/REV switch controls cable rotation and provides ON/O-OFF control of the motor. An integral Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) is built into the line cord.

The K-5208 is designed to use 7/8″ and 1 1/4″ diameter sectional-type cable, having a quick-change coupling system for connecting and disconnecting cables and tools. The cable is manually fed in and out of the drain and rotates at a speed of 700 RPM.

The rotation of the cable is controlled by a clutch lever handle. The cable stops instantly when the clutch lever handle is released.

The included transport cart (model 64863) is designed exclusively for use with the compact K-5208 Sectional Drain Cleaner, making travel from job to job easier than ever. The cart allows wheeled movement of the K-5208 machine and cable carrier, and it can support the K-5208 machine during operation. Users can leverage the stair climber feature for reduced effort when transporting up or down stairs, while clicking the wheel lock into place will keep the cart stable when working in the mounted horizontal position. The cart can be stored horizontally or vertically to accommodate space on a truck or at the shop.
